  • Economic and Commercial Real Estate Outlook: It’s Déjà Vu All Over Again. This is a presentation I made at Seattle CoreNet Global's meeting on February 19 2013. It blends empirical data and analysis with a survey of over 100 CoreNet members and guests.

  • National and Seattle Commercial Real Estate Market Outlook: Spring Forward, Fall Back? This is a presentation I made to the CRE Seattle Chapter in April 2012.

  • Commercial Real Estate Outlook 2012: A Positive State of Mind? This is a presentation I made in early 2012 to the Seattle CoreNet Global Chapter. It includes survey-based insights collected from participants prior to the presentation.

  • The Fall of our Discontent: Development Outlook 2012. This is a presentation I made to the Development II NAIOP Forum in Scottsdale AZ on October 18, 2011. This presentation incorporates the results of a survey of audience members.

  • The Fall of our Discontent 2012: Management & Leasing Implications. This is a recent presentation I made to the Management & Leasing NAIOP Forum in Scottsdale AZ on October 18, 2011. This presentation incorporates the results of a survey of audience members and includes a discussion of office and industrial market fundamentals excerpted from the book I am writing entitled Fundamentals of Real Estate: A Behavioral Perspective.

  • The Impending Revolution in Real Estate: The New Rules of Engagement: 2010, NAIOP National Forums. This is a presentation I made to three separate NAIOP Forums (Industrial Development III Forum, Mixed Use Development Forum, Trends in Real Estate Development I Forum) in San Francisco on April 28, 2010. This presentation provided an overview on where we're at and how we got here, with emphasis on where we're headed. It concludes with my Top-10 Trends, as well as some advice for real estate professionals. In addition to my own materials, the presentation incorporates the results of a survey of audience members.

  • The Upcoming Revolution in Commercial Real Estate: 2010, University of Denver, Burns Society. This is a high-level presentation I made on April 20 2010. It provides a review of: "Where We're At," "How we Got Here," and "Where We're Headed." It concludes with some key trends that I see as we move through the revolutionary phase of real estate in which we are currently enmeshed.

  • 2010 Real Estate Outlook: Reflecting on the Future, University of Denver, Burns Coffee. This is a presentation I made on April 19th as the 2010 Burns Visiting Scholar. It provides an in-depth overview of the economy, capital markets and real estate markets and concludes with a discussion of implications for the industry.
